Bechamel Sauce

3 T unsalted butter
3 T flour
2 C whole milk, heated
salt and white pepper, freshly ground


On medium heat, melt the butter in a saucepan.
Add flour, salt, and pepper, continuously stirring for 2 min.
Add milk gradually, and let thicken, stirring, for a few minutes.

Match made in Heaven:

Use it for Pasta Alfredo Carbonara
