2/3 C sugar
3 T water
3 T butter, unsalted
1/3 C heavy cream (35%), at room temperature
flaky salt (Maldon or other)
Bring sugar and water to a simmer.
Do not stir and wait until it turns medium dark golden.
Take off the stove and add butter and cream.
Add salt in, or sprinkle on the drizzle.
Cover and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
