Tomato Pizza Sauce

Ingredients:

1 can San Marzano stewed tomatoes, 28 oz, slightly drained
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 t kosher salt
1/2 – 1 t red pepper flakes
1 T balsamic vinegar or glaze of balsamic vinegar of Modena (optional)
black pepper, freshly ground

Directions:

Process tomatoes with the rest of the ingredients in the food processor until almost smooth.
Use right away or refrigerate and freeze.
