1 C milk
9 T butter
6 T sugar
3/4 t baking soda
4 egg yolks
1 1/2 C sugar
4 T flour
4 T milk
4 1/2 C milk
200 g butter
Mix the first 5 ingredients. Make a log.
Cut the log into 6-8 equal pieces (more pieces for taller torte).
Roll out the dough thin.
Spray baking sheet. Poke each dough round with fork and bake 6-10 min @ 300.
Stir egg yolks, eggs, and sugar.
Add flour and milk, and more milk.
Stir and bring to boil, stirring constantly. Cool down to room temperature.
Add vanilla and butter.
Assemble: alternate dough, and cream. On top, crumble the last layer.
Leave uncovered for 1 hour at room temperature, then cover and keep refrigerated.
