Grilled Croutons

Ingredients:

few slices day old coarse bread, sliced 2/3 – 1 inch thick
1/3 C olive oil
3 garlic cloves, finely grated

Directions:

Melt the butter with garlic over low heat.
Take off the heat.
Grill the bread on both sides until the grill marks appear but it is still soft inside, about 2 min on each side.
Take off the grill, brush both sides of the bread with garlic butter.
Cut into 2/3 inch cubes.

Match made in Heaven:

Enjoy on the Caesar Salad, or Grilled Romaine Salad, or as a garnish for your soups.
