Maple Chili

1 large onion, finely diced
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
3 T butter
1 lb ground pork
1 can stewed tomatoes, crushed (28 oz)
1 can HEINZ Maple Style Beans with Pure Quebec Maple Syrup (14 oz)
1/2 lb mushrooms, quartered
1/4 t chipotle chili pepper
1/4 C cornmeal
salt and pepper, freshly ground


Sautee onion and garlic until golden.
Add ground pork and fry until no longer pink.
Add tomatoes and beans, bring to boil.
Add mushrooms, chipotle pepper and cornmeal, stir and simmer on low heat for 30-40 min.
Stir every 5 min or so, making sure it does not stick to the bottom of the pot.
Add salt and pepper.
Cut up the bread and enjoy!

A big piece of freshly baked White Bread for dipping.
