Grilled Chicken Marinated in Yoghurt

1 fresh whole chicken, cut into pieces
300 g Greek plain yoghurt
2 T olive oil
2 cloves garlic, finely grated
1/4 onion, finely chopped
1 T ground cumin
1/2 t cayenne pepper
1 T paprika
2 T sea salt
1 t black pepper, freshly ground
1/2 lemon juice
parsley, chopped, for garnish


Combine all ingredients in a bowl, but the chicken and parsley.
Add chicken and refrigerate overnight, turning a few times.
BBQ chicken on a grill or bake the chicken at 400F, for 20 min or longer for bone in.
Garnish with parsley.
