Moms Pork Cutlets

1 slice white bread, crust removed
1/4 C milk
1 large onion
1 medium potato
2 lb ground pork
1 egg
2 T sour cream
salt and black pepper, freshly ground
flour and fine breadcrumbs for coating
1/2 C olive oil


In a cup, soak bread in milk.
In a large mixing bowl, finely grate potato, then onion.
Add the bread, pork, egg, sour cream, salt and pepper, and stir well to combine.
Set aside for 30-60 min.
Mix flour with a little bit of fine breadcrumbs in a bowl.
Form balls from meat and flatten them a bit.
Dip in the flour mixture and fry in hot oil until brown on both sides.

Match made in Heaven:

Goes well with Butter Mashed Potatoes and IPA Pickled Vegetables.
