Spinach and Beef in Pink Sauce

200 g linguini or other pasta
1 lb beef
300 g frozen spinach, defrosted
2 cloves garlic
6 T butter
4 T flour
300 g milk, heated
60 g tomato paste
olive oil
salt and pepper


Cook pasta.
Fry garlic in olive oil, add beef, then spinach. Add the tomato paste.
In the mean time, under gentle heat melt butter, add flour, while stirring. Gradually add the milk stirring until thickened and smooth.
Add salt and pepper. Stir in the meat mix and sauce together and toss with pasta.
