Kartoffelpuffer

Ingredients:

2 large potatoes
1 egg, beaten, at room temperature, or 1/4 C beer
1/4 C flour
1/2 t baking powder
3 T olive oil
salt

Directions:

Finely grate potatoes, drain the juices out.
Add egg, flour, baking powder and salt.
Fry in oil until golden brown on each side.

Match made in Heaven:

Big dollop of sour cream.‎
