1 lb ground pork
1 lb ground beef
4 cloves garlic, finely grated
1/2 onion, finely grated
2 eggs, at room temperature
2/3 C Breadcrumbs
1 C Parmigiano-Reggianoā€ˇ, coarsely grated
1 C parsley, finely chopped
salt and pepper, freshly ground
4 L Chicken Broth
1 C small round pasta
1 bunch endive, chopped


Combine first 9 ingredients, and form small meatballs.
Add meatballs to the pot of simmering Chicken Broth.
Let simmer for 20 min.
Add pasta and endive, salt and pepper and cook for 10 min longer.
Once in the bowls, may sprinkle extra cheese on top.

Match made in Heaven:

A big glass of Red.
